OpenScape Cloud offers cost savings with SIP trunking, and is very flexible in the design of a plan to suit each organization's requirements.
To start, you must specify each location if you have more than one site. This is to insure each user accesses the correct e911 emergency dispatch center.
Indicate the phone numbers you will be directing to the system. This can be as few as 2 (A main number and a fax number); or many as you might have DID service for each phone and many user's fax application; and perhaps some numbers directed to specific groups or departments as well. Assign new numbers0, or port over your existing phone numbers
Select a calling plan for outgoing calls.
We recommend unlimited nationwide calling included with your package.
Traditional per calling billing is also available at competitive rates.
Very competitive rates for International dialing.
By the use of gateways, e.g. OpenScape Branch, you can also maintain your own local calling plan with a local carrier. This is not cost effective, but does address several issues: You might have a contractual obligation to continue your present service for a period of time; You would maintain an additional layer of redundancy should your connection to the OpenScape data centers be interrupted; This would provide e911 emergency dispatch service in the very small percentage of the country which cannot be accessed by the OpenScape trunking solution.
